Schwarz named Linz Bishop
Bishop Ludwig Schwarz, S.D.B. was named Bishop of Linz, Austria. He had been serving as an Auxiliary Bishop of Wien {Vienna} since 2001. The diocese of Linz had been vacant since Bishop Maximilian Aichern, O.S.B. resigned in May.
