Cardinal Egan has died

Edward Michael Cardinal Egan, Archbishop Emeritus of New York, New York, USA, has died.

He would have been 83 next month and had served as a cardinal for 14 years. He had also served as a bishop for 29 years and as a priest for 57 years.

May he rest in peace.
